We've reached the final day of The Purple Dress Project, 2011. This was my first year participating in Take Steps in an effort to raise money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. This project took on a life of its own! We gained over 900 followers on Facebook and raised over $2,100! Thank you all for your support and your generous donations! This project would not have been successful without you!

I'm a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2007 which later became Crohn's disease. I've had lots of struggles but I am so thankful for my family and friends that support me. I've have a wonderful, funny husband and a sweet little girl.

 

Photography became my hobby and creative outlet after I had my daughter, I was constantly taking pictures of her. Four years later my little hobby turned into a business. It started by taking pictures of friends and grew from there. I love interacting with families and children.

 

After attending a craft show last winter I got the idea for ABC Art. Once I started, I was hooked. I see letters everywhere now. I always enjoy making them and coming up with new ideas.
