We got a little bit of snow here in the mid-west! The trees were beautifully covered ~ a truly lovely white Christmas! This outfit was worn Christmas Eve. It is also my father-in-law's birthday so on top of the traditional Christmas Eve celebrations that we do with my family we also have birthday celebrations to do with my husband's family. I needed an outfit suitable for both occasions. I chose this simple black pencil skirt and paired it with a gray and white striped turtleneck under a gray t-shirt with a ribbon rosette. I thought the outfit was a little plain so I threw in the bright fuchsia tights and black ballet flats. I love how freshly fallen snow looks before cars and people touch it. Aren't these pictures so fun?
