A simple outfit today. Just a plain black long-sleeve t-shirt paired with gray slacks (both from J. Crew). I'm wearing my black ballet flats from Cole Haan again (I really need to incorporate more of my other shoe selections!) I accessorized with a black and white plaid scarf and a gray hair clip by The Bloomin Boutique. Super casual but classy. I went to lunch at a local cafe with my Mom and played around with my camera. The outfit served both actions perfectly! The scarf makes the outfit a little more trendy and the hair clip makes the outfit a little more feminine. This outfit is totally my style: Timeless Discovery. The shirt/pant combination is timeless. I could have worn this 10 years ago or 10 years from now. But by adding the scarf and hair clip I've added a little "discovery" or trendiness or "tszuj" as Carson Kressley would say.
