The leaves on the trees are falling

Look. At. That. Cutie. I'm guessing I'm about 2 in these pictures. We are still living at our first house in Columbia, so I must be quite young. Don't I look absolutely blissful? I don't think there was a happier child in the world at this moment. Daddy is raking the leaves in a pile around me and I get to splash around in them while Mama takes lots of photos of me. This was pretty much the gist of my childhood. Daddy does something funny, makes me giggle, Mama snaps photos. It was a perfect childhood.

Plus, what child wouldn't die for that stinking adorable matching pink sweat suit? I mean take a close look at it. Pink sweatshirt, hooded with ruffles around the face, tied with a neat bow below the chin, long sleeves with ruffles at the wrist, with the words "Sweet Honey" embroidered across the front. Matching pink sweatpants and perfectly white (not for long) Keds. The other two-year-olds had to have been jealous of that getup.

Oh, and let's not leave out my Dad's outfit. Blue puffy jacket vest with red and yellow stripes layered over a blue sweatshirt and paired with jeans and tennis shoes. Love it. And for those of you who know my Dad, check out that dark brown hair! Sure it is the same hair cut that he's had since he was 5, but how many of you recognize the color? I know! Cool, huh? And he blames me for turning him gray...clearly I was not the cause. Here I am in my so called "terrible twos" and he still has a full head of dark brown hair!
