Eric and I celebrated our first anniversary last night. We asked Chef Dad to prepare us a special dinner to celebrate and he really came through (as if there was any doubt). Mom surprised us with a beautiful tablescape of black and white, the colors of our wedding.

This is a picture of my cousin, Susan, and me after we "climbed a mountain" to see these beautiful waterfalls. I love vacationing with my family, we have the best time! My dad and my uncle, Gary, are serious vacation planners. We don't usually travel anywhere without a two-inch three ring binder of everything you would want to know about the destination. I think it results in some of the most incredible vacations of all time.
I worked for a florist for several years, but I just love how flowers look without being arranged. I threw them in old milk glasses and they look as if they've been hand-picked from the garden outside instead of arranged by a florist who doesn't know or care about you as a person.
