What incredible pieces of machinery. It really amazes me that anyone could make anything on these!Maybe we'll feel the same way about typewriters in a few years...
Lovely items.My aunt has the one owned by my granny - on it's own table with foot pedals.I bought an antique one about 15 years ago which has a "shuttle" type bobbin in it (instead of the usual round type).I even used it once to sew some curtains!!!
Aren't they just gorgeous? The old machines had such style. Lovely! .. Cass
