Historic House Tour

Tuesday, June 9, 2009 |
I went on a historic house tour in my hometown with my mom and several of her friends.

We toured this house called Villa Panorama because the view from the top floor is so exquisite and so high that it offers a panoramic view of the city.

The house offered spectacular details such as this beautiful mirrored fireplace...
I adore this antique bread warmer...

Isn't that subway tile classic??

This stained glass door of a peacock is even more incredible in person and the peacock theme shows up throughout the property.

Wow. That porch!!

We didn't get to tour this house but a brief description of it appeared outside on the sidewalk. It was built for the children of the owner of another house we toured.
I've adored this house since I moved to Jefferson City, but I think it is more beautiful on the outside than it was on the inside.

The kitchen, however, was spectacular!!

This house was completely gutted and turned into a law office, I wasn't impressed.

Along with Villa Panorama, this is one of my favorite houses on the tour!

This was my favorite room in the house, I adore the red and black theme! The quilts in this house were all handmade by the owner!
Isn't this child's bed adorable?!?

A picture of my mom and her friends walking to the next house!! We had SO much fun!

Oh Ashley, I love the porch you featured. Totally love it!!!!

Your Mom is a sweetie. You are so blessed. She is a great blog friend.

I am too. My Mom lives two doors away and we love to spend time together.

Have a great day today!
