For Today...
Outside my window...the sun is brightly shining but the air is a bit cool.
I am thinking...this is the best summer vacation ever.
From the learning rooms...I learned how to quilt this weekend and I'm totally addicted!
I am thankful for...good friends and great wine.
From the kitchen...freshly baked brownies and white wine. :)
I am wearing...Eric's sweatpants and a tank top.
I am reading...books on how to be an effective teacher.
I am hoping...to make a quilt of my own sometime soon.
I am creating...lesson plans for the first college class I'm teaching this summer.
I am hearing...the sounds of a movie about to begin.
Around the house...Eric is sitting next to me waiting for the movie to start and I'm hurrying to finish this post.
One of my favorite things...spending time with my husband.
A few plans for the rest of the week...absolutely nothing, the joys of summer vacation!

oooh teaching a college class, that sounds exciting.
next year we'll be quilting extraordinaires. we can call ourselves the columbia quilting coalition or something cool like that. (i think the word "coalition" makes things sound more important)
White wine is my favourite :)
