Dogsitting

Eric and I "dog-sat" for our good friends, Brad and Jacqueline. For an entire week we had the pleasure of Ruby's company. I agreed to take care of Ruby in hopes that Eric would fall inlove and want to get a dog. Eric did fall inlove, but now he just wants Ruby. Hopefully we can find a dog as wonderful as Ruby was!

Sunday Afternoon Picnic

Eric and I spent an afternoon at Stephens Lake and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We made artichoke and green onion dip for our appetizer, miniature pimiento cheese sandwiches, and delicious banana and strawberry parfaits for dessert.

Napa Valley Honeymoon

We spent our days touring wineries. Eric took this picture of me at our first winery, Beringer, before we went on a tour of their vinyards and cellars. We learned alot about grapes and the history of the wineries. Other wineries we toured include Sterling, V. Sattui, The Hess Collection, and Korbel.




We also visited several natural Californian wonders including the petrified forest, the old faithful geiser, and the red wood forest.







We spent a few days in San Francisco at the end of the week. We ate incredible food at the Stinking Rose and Sears Fine Foods. It was a wonderful honeymoon and we can't wait to go back to Napa Valley. There are still many more wineries we want to tour and taste.
