Ashley's first bridal shower was today at her mom's home. Marlene Davis provided a Pampered Chef show. Marlene had everyone sign an apron to give to Ashley. Then Marlene demonstrated how to make the chicken ring that we ate later. It was simple and fun and as it turned out, quite delicious!

Karen, the matron of honor, was the hostess, but she came down very ill so Aunt Joy took over her duties. Joy worked hard at keeping things together for Marlene and at the end, had all the dishes washed! Susan, one of the bridesmaids, kept track of the ornaments Ashley received.

Ashley received ornaments from each guest along with a favorite recipe. In addition, guests purchased gifts from the pampered chef catalog. Ashley received a lot of beautiful things for her kitchen!
